with its rural historic charm is located six kilometres south of Binbrook in the community of Blackheath.

Thank you to everyone who made our Park Lane fundraiser a huge success. $650 will be coming to the church as our portion. There is going to be a lot of sparkle out there.

Thank you for your continued support for the GLANBROOK COMMUNITY FOOD BANK. 
Helping people in our community is part of what we do. The newest Grand Totals for our Foodbank are: 173 lbs & $450. The donation boxes for cash and/or goods are located by the piano. Thank you.

Diners club saw us serve 60 people last week Thanks to all, the volunteers, we have a fabulous team.
Next meal is Thursday May 16th. Call GCS @905-692-3464 to reserve your seat. These tickets have been selling fast.

Sweets and sandwiches happening on May 19th, looking for some volunteers to make sandwich filling and desserts. See Karen. $10 per person.

Annual yard sale, bake tables, books and plants event coming up on June 1st at 8 am to 1 pm. Note change of date. Book your table with Karen, $15. We will be outside weather permitting. We also will be having an open house to take a tour through the church. If you can help taking people through church, see one of the stewards.

June 2nd, we will celebrate 199 years as a United Church. More information to come soon.

Pickleball will be starting up soon, if interested in helping or playing see the stewards committee. 

Stewards’ meeting is Thursday April 25th after coffee hour.

Any men who would like to participate in our Mother’s Day Choir, please let Laurie Mysko know. We will start practicing on Sunday, April 21st, after the church service. If you have any questions, please see Laurie Mysko or call her at 289-680-2182.

Coffee hour on Thursdays at Binbrook church is in the gym from 930-12 noon. Drop in when you can for some good coffee and goodies but also great conversations and laughs. Free will offering.

Starting September, St. John Ambulance will be offering standard and emergency first aid courses at the Binbrook United Church. Please call 905-387-1880 or visit sja.ca to register for an upcoming course. 

Milk bags are still being collected, Karen will also be picking them up! 
Karen would like to thank everyone for the pop tabs and milk bags, please continue saving them over the summer.

Rooms are available for rent and the kitchen is now health certified, let family and friends know. See prices up on Bulletin Board, call the office, or check them out on the website under the Binbrook tab.
